——documentary of the delegation led by Deputy Mayor, Shen, examining LXCC in Saudi Arabia
On November 22nd, 2015, a business delegation of 6 people led by Shen Lei, Deputy Mayor of Nantong City, visited Longxin Saudi Arabia Branch. The members of the delegation are: Administrative Vice Minister of Nantong municipal Party Committee Organization Department, Huang Weicheng; Vice District Head of Nantong Chongchuan District, Tao Gaobing; Deputy Mayor of Rugao City, Chen Wansheng; Director of Building Materials Bureau, Shen Weixing; Party Committee Secretary of Business Bureau of Nantong City, Huang Huixia. The General Manager of Longxin Overseas Company Mr. Xu, Executive Manager Mr. Wu of Saudi Arabia Branch, welcomed them at Dammam Airport.
The delegation had an informal discussion with managerial personnel of Saudi Arabia Branch immediately after the journey. LXCC’s Overseas Company has been struggling in Saudi Arabia for 8 years. Deputy Mayor Shen gave high elevation of the results achieved by LXCC so far. He also hoped that LXCC could become an enterprise with international competitive advantages in the near future after hearing Mr. Xu’s report. That night, they had dinner with staffs in the canteen of the Branch Company.

On the morning of November 23rd, the delegation watched overseas company’s previous construction projects in Saudi Arabia, such as Kempinski Hotel in Dammam, etc. That afternoon, the delegation visited Mr. WALID, General Manager of Osman Group (local long-term partner of LXCC), and had friendly exchanges with him.

After that, the delegation rushed to Saudi capital Riyadh to attend the discussion among Nantong business representatives held at Jiangsu CITIC Saudi branch to know about the enterprises’ difficulties encountered in Saudi, as well as advising the establishment of Nantong chamber of Commerce. Representatives of Zhongnan Group and Jiangsu CITIC, etc. also attend the discussion.

On the morning of November 24th, the delegation together with Representatives of Nantong construction enterprises visited Chinese Embassy there and was warmly received by Ambassador Li. During the discussion, Deputy Major, Shen, introduced Nantong’s multiple location advantages as well as the economic development of its Architecture in recent years, hoped embassy could give more support to Nantong’s enterprises in Saudi Arabia. Ambassador Li fully affirmed and highly appraised it.
