Longxin Overseas Company and Group Company’s Overseas Business Department Jointly Organized a Lecture

In the morning of October 31^stfrom 9 to 11:30, under the deployment of Longxin Overseas Company’s General Manager, Xu Weisong, the Commerce Department of Branch Company and Overseas Business Department of Group Company organized a lecture in the 2^nd floor’s meeting room of Longxin Building, which attracted many relevant branch company’s staffs to come to listen and study.

Xiang Jingyue, professor of KOGUAN Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and former Chief Economist of China Sfeco Group, was invited to give lecture in aspects of the implementation of international project contract, contract management, budget management and risk control. According to the title, the lecture was divided into four parts, project implementation and management, budget management, risk control and case analysis.

During the lecture, many notices were given out. Mr. Xiang pointed out that much attention should be paid to construction organization design and fund plan before the implementation. Important factors such as local law, tax, insurance, local labor force, etc. should be carefully considered as well. At the end of the lecture, he also mentioned two vivid cases in which Chinese company suffer great loss because of the ignorance of FIDIC contract terms and local factors, which told us careful study of contracts was of great significance.

Recently, developing overseas market is in line with the trend of the times and the national policy. Therefore, such lectures are very helpful to those companies who have overseas engineering or are planning to have ones. Therefore, a series of similar lectures will be carried out in the future.
